Job Description

Job Title:
Cash Management Department:
Accounting Employment Status:
Full-time /Non-Exempt (45 hrs per week
M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
)
Qualifications:
High degree of personal integrity required due to the access to company information. Tact and objectivity required considering the relationships of a family-owned business. High School graduate required. College courses or credit preferred. Proficiency in excel is preferred.
Reports to:
Finance Manager Job Summary:
A friendly and organized individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced Cash Management position. This person should be a self-starter and able to work through situations that require in-depth thinking.
Basic Responsibilities:
Managing reconciliation of multiple bank accounts using accounting software Pulling in bank files daily to reconcile Handling cash management for multiple entities Reconciliation of transit card payments Record entry for vendor debits to bank account Generate posting for rebates Reconcile fuel invoices Process drafts for fuel Back up for Retail paperwork entry and balancing Reception coverage Additional duties as assigned from time to time by leadership Work with other departments to obtain paperwork
Supervision, Knowledge and Ability:
Must be dependable, well organized, and an effective time manager. Commitment to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers with a good sense of urgency. Must demonstrate the ability to provide effective direct feedback to your Supervisor as well as other Good Oil employees. Must have the ability to clearly, concisely and professionally communicate information through good verbal and written skills and have good telephone techniques. Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude during all internal and external customer interactions. Must be a "team player, that is, one who enjoys working closely with other staff members and has the ability to be flexible, adaptive, and positive in his/her interactions with others including peers, and others with whom Good Oil interacts with. Must maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and Outlook. Proven data entry skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot and coordinate multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment. Demonstrated ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality. Ability to think critically and bring fresh perspective and ideas to the team. Must be willing to perform other related duties as required and assigned. Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems and prevent customer dissatisfaction while ensuring quality standards are met.
Physical Demands of Position:
Must be able to meet regular, and sometimes short, deadlines on documentation, correspondence, and other assignments. Elongated periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, writing and sorting paperwork Lifting up to 20 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Normal scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
