Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable Industrial Blaster & Painter to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for surface preparation, sandblasting, and applying coatings to ensure high-quality finishes on metal parts and products. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in industrial painting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform sandblasting or abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces Apply industrial coatings, primers, and finishes using spray equipment Ensure proper surface prep for paint adhesion and durability Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and consistency Maintain and clean blasting and painting equipment Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Mix paints and coatings according to specifications Work with team members to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

Experience with sandblasting and/or industrial painting Familiarity with spray guns, airless systems, or powder coating (if applicable) Knowledge of surface preparation techniques Ability to read work orders and follow instructions Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop Knowledge of coating thickness standards (mil gauges, etc.) Forklift or overhead crane experience Understanding of OSHA safety standards
