Industrial Mechanic

In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on natural gas compressors and associated equipment within a manufacturing environment. Your expertise will help optimize performance, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards across our operations. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on natural gas compressors , including hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical parts. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly. Repair and replace compressor components such as valves, pistons, seals, and bearings with precision measuring instruments and welding techniques. Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts, forklifts, and other industrial machinery to access hard-to-reach areas safely. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support by diagnosing equipment issues and recommending solutions. Qualifications 2 years of experience in mechanical test and assembly/disassembly or heavy equipment repairs and maintenance Ability to work OT, weekends , and Holidays Ability to interpret drawings, prints, and engineering specifications Ability to operate heavy equipment such as scissor lifts safely; valid certifications preferred. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices combined with a background in manufacturing or industrial maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical manuals and schematics clearly.
