Industrial Painter/Sandblaster

About us Northeast Utility Contractors is a Utility Construction business in Towanda, PA. We primarily operate in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, sandblasting and applying primer
• Mix paint/epoxies to achieve desired results
• Use power tools and equipment to remove old paint, rust, and other debris
• Apply paint using various techniques, including HVLP and airless paint spraying
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial painting or a related field such as auto body repair or auto painting
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly processes
• Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
