Infant Teacher

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a specific focus on caring for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children during their most formative years.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants in our program, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Create a warm and nurturing environment where infants can explore, learn, and develop important skills through age-appropriate activities and interactions. Follow established daily routines and schedules, including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime, to support infants' physical and emotional needs. Foster positive relationships with families, communicating regularly to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote growth and learning in all areas of development. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment, ensuring the safety and hygiene of all materials and equipment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants in a childcare or early education setting. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Certification in Infant CPR and First Aid required. Strong understanding of infant development and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with infants and young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
