Full Time Location:

Tiny Steps Learning Center, Paterson, NJ. Tiny Steps Learning Center is expanding and seeking passionate Infant Assistant Teachers to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Position Overview:

The Infant Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in caring for infants, fostering their development in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with physical caregiving and developmental assessments. Supporting the curricular plan. Building supportive relationships with staff, parents, and students.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience with infant children in a daycare setting. Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (Preferred). Strong understanding of child development and infant educational methods. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred. Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day. Willingness to submit to background checks. CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Available to work full-time, including as late as 5:30 pm (Depending on work shift assigned).

License/Certification:
