Multiple Positions Available Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Two or more years experience in infusing fiberglass parts in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in a fiberglass boat manufacturing environment preferred Working knowledge of engineered fabrics, lamination materials, and the infusion process for hulls, decks, and small parts is preferred.
Infusion Department Job Description Summary/Objective :
The Infusion department is responsible for producing hulls, decks, and other boat parts using a vacuum infusion process. This is a full-time hourly position that is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 5am to 3:30 pm.
Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position, which include: Inspects, cleans, assembles, and prepares molds for parts to be produced based on assigned production schedules by reading, interpreting, and applying technical instructions from dimensional drawings, work orders, company-defined processes, etc. Accurately measures materials and parts needed to comply with company quality standards and minimize waste. Installs structural and supportive components into molds using hand/air tools. Mixes catalysts into resins and saturates cloth and mats with the mixture. Installs vacuum feed lines and vacuum equipment and bags molds to be infused. Ensure that all quality standards and production schedules are met Maintains all chemicals in appropriately labeled containers, ensures chemicals are handled safely. Follows established procedures to safely dispose of chemicals, minimizes chemical waste. De-molds finished parts Performs routine housekeeping in the Infusion department to meet safety and efficiency standards

Work Environment/Physical Demands :
This position works in a production environment. Incumbents are required to stand, bend, stoop, and lift their hands above their heads throughout each 10-hour shift. The ability to see and distinguish color variations is required, as is the ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds. This is a team-based environment requiring incumbents to multi-task and work safely and productively with others under minimal supervision. This is a fast-paced, noisy environment which is non-climate controlled (regularly above 90 ambient degrees or below 60 ambient degrees) that includes exposure to fumes/airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals as well as exposure to moving mechanical parts and high/precarious places. Personal protective equipment must be worn and may include safety glasses, Tyvek protection suits and/or half/full face respirators. This is a safety sensitive position that requires the employee to be in a constant state of alertness. Incumbents are expected to fully always comply with all aspects of the EWPB Drug and Alcohol policy (Drug Free Workplace).
