With nurse-led oversight and highly qualified caregivers, we focus on safety, independence, and peace of mind for the families we serve.Role Overview:
As a Home Health Aide at BrightStar Care of W. Volusia, you will be responsible for providing essential daily living assistance and personalized care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our nursing staff and caregivers to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care and support. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a significant impact in the lives of our patients.Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to nursing staff. Help clients with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation. Assist with medication reminders and mobility support to ensure safety and well-being.Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification. Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home care. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English. Compassionate and patient-focused with a dedication to helping others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Bonus If You:
Have additional experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care. Possess first aid and CPR certifications.Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position that may include shifts on Mondays through Sundays.Location:
