Great Pay, Benefits + Relocation Assistance Available Job Description What you will be doing: Lead safe work practices and implement efficiency gains. Create systemic and sustainable systems for Production Teams and Ingot Production Supervisors. Safely produce the short-term plan and make important policy and strategic decisions. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for future growth. Demonstrate flexibility to grow with the organization and create more efficient, higher functioning teams and systems. Promote and implement the EHS management system and ensure continual improvement of EHS performance. Utilize personnel and equipment to meet production objectives at the highest quality and service at the lowest possible cost. Maintain knowledge of manufacturing processes, operations, and quality standards. Coordinate and prioritize work according to business needs related to monthly production goals, casting recovery, and scrap utilization. Participate in and contribute to the development of people, process, and product improvements. Lead cost reduction efficiency improvements to improve customer satisfaction. Oversee all operational activities and housekeeping efforts to ensure employee and equipment safety. Understand the monthly forecasting process, inventory usage, and procurement processes. Ensure proper documentation for training, promotion, or counseling of direct reports. Work primarily M-F, daytime shifts, with some weekend and off-shift responsibilities.Experience you will need:
High school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience of 10+ years in manufacturing, or a bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-performance, cross-functional team environment. Experience with furnaces or molten metal processes is preferred. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and Reliability Excellence methodologies is preferred.
