Injury Prevention Specialist - PRN

Overview Select Physical Therapy is currently hiring a PRN Injury Prevention-WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. New hire to perform job-specific testing (POET) approximately 15 hours/week. Working directly with a physical therapist. Must be highly organized and complete reports in a timely and accurate fashion.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $30.00, hourly, based on years of experience

Work with a variety of team sizes, patient populations, and specialties Responsibilities Completing necessary requirements for Post Offer Employment Testing Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for services Regular communication with both client and Select leadership Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree CPR certification Strong knowledge of lifting body mechanics
