About us The House of Goshen is a 14 bed inpatient hospice facility in Flossmoor that offers inpatient hospice care that surpasses conventional hospice services by delivering continuous medical care and assistance in a cozy and home like environment. Our team of highly qualified professionals are well-equipped to manage intricate medical requirements, and provide specialist treatment that encompasses pain management, symptom control, and mental well-being. 36 hours/week of (3days) 12-hour shifts available (mornings, Includes holiday and weekend rotation.

Oasis Hospice and Palliative Care Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Experience in hospice inpatient unit or similar experience such as ICU
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois
• Maintains a current CPR certification.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and general public
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required

Expectations:

• Performs physical, psychosocial and spiritual assessments utilizing non-verbal cues and probes or modifications of questions to obtain more comprehensive assessments.
• Communicates patient and family's expectations of care, goals, and comprehensive learning needs to all members of the health care team via appropriate documentation.
• All documentation is clear, legible, concise, accurate, timely, and meets department standards.
• Provides Case Management functions to an assigned case load, as part of the IDG.
• Provides clinical services at quality levels consistent with professional standards and codes of conduct.
• Knowledge of medication, pain, and symptom management.
• Approach patients and families with care, concern and compassion.
• Perform referral evaluations and admission assessments of patients for families seeking Hospice services.
• General knowledge of Hospice Conditions of Participation and Regulations.

Pay:

$38.00 - $43.00 per hour
