• Gloucester City, NJ Job Description The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing customer relationships through product knowledge, problem-solving and responsiveness.

You will partner with the Outside Sales Representatives (OSR) on a regular basis and function in a team environment reporting to the Director of Inside Sales & Customer Service. Responsibilities & Duties Actively engage customers to fully identify needs, process inquiries, interact with vendors, prepare quotations, and secure orders both independently and in partnership with the OSR. Manage all aspects of a project/order including submittal preparation, vendor coordination, scheduling, deliveries, emergencies and billing disputes. Utilize an ERP/operating system and CRM to manage all aspects of customer engagement. Experience with Epicor is preferred however not a requirement. Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and participate in training seminars across all product categories in an effort to deliver best in class technical support. Occasionally travel with OSR to better understand customer needs, assess future opportunities and strengthen the overall relationship. Qualifications and Skills Experience in pipe, valves, & fittings for industrial and waterworks applications is a MUST. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time-management and organization. Ability to work independently and multi-task while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and related products. Previous inside sales rep experience is a MUST. Knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings and other waterworks related history is a MUST.
