Job Description

Summary/objective We are seeking a driven and motivated sales professional looking for an exciting opportunity to grow with a well-established flooring company. This position offers the potential to earn a competitive hourly wage along with performance-based commission. The Inside Salesperson is responsible for consistently delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and building long-term customer relationships. In addition, this role provides support to warehouse operations as needed, including assisting with order preparation, inventory coordination, and ensuring smooth product flow to enhance the customer experience. Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Providing excellent customer service while greeting guests and introducing the showroom. Answer phones in a professional manner while taking messages, and/or supplying customers with information such as Order ETA's, and product availability through inventory checks. Check samples out, and/or schedule measures using the correct methods and procedures for optimal outcomes and tracking purposes. Loading customers' flooring purchases either by forklift or by hand, as needed. Offload and receive product into the inventory system, then call/email customers in a timely manner upon its arrival. Complete pick up and receive paperwork accurately, and tag products and pallets accordingly. Receive deliveries from vendors and MDC or CDC. Maintain a clean and organized sales area, showroom, warehouse, and property, including but not limited to floors, dusting, sample inventories, restrooms, placing price tags as needed, cleaning the warehouse, and property.
