Inspector

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Vacation Rental Inspector to ensure our properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest readiness. The inspector plays a key role in maintaining quality control by thoroughly checking vacation rentals before and after guest stays, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities Property Inspections Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure inspections of vacation rental homes. Verify that each property is clean, stocked, and guest-ready according to company standards. Check for damages, missing items, and maintenance issues; document and report findings promptly. Ensure safety features (smoke detectors, locks, appliances, etc.) are functioning properly. Quality Control Maintain detailed inspection checklists for consistency and accuracy. Confirm linens, supplies, and amenities are properly placed and replenished. Ensure property presentation meets branding and guest expectations. Report and follow up on housekeeping or maintenance deficiencies. Coordination & Communication Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly. Communicate inspection results and urgent needs to supervisors and staff. Assist in scheduling or prioritizing cleaning/repairs when necessary. Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or property management experience preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required. Comfortable using mobile apps, checklists, and reporting tools. Strong communication skills with a professional and proactive approach. Physical ability to walk, bend, lift light items, and perform inspections across various property types. Work Environment & Schedule Field-based role with travel between properties. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet guest turnover timelines. Combination of indoor and outdoor property inspections. Why Join Us?
