Interior Designer / Residential Remodel Project Manager Experienced Interior Designer /
Residential Construction Project Manager Needed:

We are family owned / operated and have been in business on the island for 40 years with a retail store, interior design and general contracting business. While we are well established and have an outstanding reputation, we continue to look freshly at all facets of our business to be better tomorrow than we were today. If this sounds like a good situation for you, we are looking for an Interior Designer / Residential Remodel Project Manager. Some of the duties are outlined below. Responsibilities
CAD / CANVA / 20-20
/ Project Management Software (Builder Trend) literate Provide all facets of interior design from product knowledge, research, installation, layout creation / design, finish item selections, client consultations... Assist in running or completely run (depending on experience) renovation / remodel projects from start to finish.
Implement / Assist
in new client acquisition, marketing efforts (growing the business) Lead initial meetings with clients, define job scope, sales presentation, offer design / layout suggestions to set Sisters Interiors apart from the competition. Lead or assist project manager in developing job scope, budget, schedule for perspective contracts. Lead or assist in estimating through contract development phase. Ensure timely production of proposals and submittal to clients. Assist project manager in creating and implementing job schedule. Assist project manager in overseeing day to day operation of ongoing jobs, scheduling of labor and materials, quality, cleanliness. Work with project manager to ensure finishes (materials) are on-site in a timely fashion to ensure smooth workflow. Assist in keeping track of perspective, active client list. Keep communication flowing to perspective clients to turn lead into active. Assist in maintaining calendar of perspective, upcoming, active job.
Learn / Utilize
Builder Trend project management system.
Assist / Oversee
financial management of ongoing jobs.
Assist / Ensure
billing and collection take place in timely fashion. Work directly with ownership to keep them up to date on all upcoming and ongoing projects. Ensure pre, during and post photos are taken of every job Ensure server is properly utilized to store any job-related documents that exist outside of co-construct.
Assist / Obtain
bids on material and labor for contractors.
Assist / Ensure
all contractor forms are present (tax, i.d., etc) Create new contractor packet with office admin. Constantly seek new contractors in all facets of our work.
Assist / Create
and maintain master contractor list for design team on Co-Construct. Communicate regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction and job status are clear. Ensure punch list work is completed / warranty in a timely fashion. Assist in permitting process where needed.
