Role Description The Residential Installation Technician is responsible for the efficient and professional installation of window treatment products. The RIT represents the Integrity Team by providing excellent customer service and attention to detail while onsite. Under the leadership of the Residential Installation Manager, the RIT meets all standards for quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
  • Installing residential products (e.g., manual shades, horizontal blinds, motorized products, etc.)
  • Collaborating with other members of the Residential Installation Team
  • Problem solving issues while onsite
  • Collecting payment from customers onsite
  • Ensuring the quality of each product installation
  • Incorporating performance feedback from Integrity management
  • Building rapport with customers while onsite
  • Exemplifying Integrity's core values (e.g., prompt attendance and communication, excellent time management, taking initiative, professionalism in speech, conduct, and dress, etc.) Key Requirements
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Highly skilled in using power tools
  • Able to consistently lift and move at least 75 pounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail and organization
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Dependability and self-motivation
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required for this position
  • Measurements of Success The success of the RIT will be indicated by factors such as the following:
  • Quality standards are regularly met and exceeded.
  • All safety guidelines are consistently met.
  • Tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • All installation delays or issues are promptly communicated to the Residential Scheduler and corresponding Sales Representative
  • Performance feedback from management is readily incorporated.
  • There is a positive working relationship between the RIT and members of the installation team.
  • Management has confidence in sending the RIT independently on an installation. Position Details
  • Full-time $18-$24 an hour; pay based on experience & meeting specific training requirments
