Inventory, Shipping & Receiving Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Compiles and maintains records of the quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies stocked within the facility. Verifies, processes, and records Shipping and Receiving activities for the Electronics Assembly Facility in Wampum, Pennsylvania. Coordinates outbound shipments using LTL trucking and express service carriers (UPS and FedEx). Utilizes Myotek's ERP system to complete all Shipping and Receiving documentation.

JOB FUNCTIONS

The following represents the primary duties of this position. Other duties may be assigned as operational needs require.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Counts materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies; posts totals to inventory records. Compares physical inventory counts to system records, including sales orders, production records, and purchase invoices. Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies; adjusts records as required. Compiles inventory data related to receipts, disbursements, balances, pricing, and costs. Prepares inventory reports, including inventory balances and shortage reports. Maintains lists of depleted, defective, or unusable items and makes recommendations for disposition. Stocks and issues materials as required for production and shipping. Performs daily cycle counts. Pulls pick lists and lot sheets for new work orders and enters completed pick lists into the ERP system. Serves as backup support for Inventory Clerks, Receiving Clerks, and Shipping Clerks.

RECEIVING

Receives, signs for, unpacks, and inspects all incoming shipments. Verifies received materials against Bills of Lading, packing lists, and purchase documentation. Rejects damaged materials, records shortages, and coordinates resolution with the Purchasing Department. Accurately records receiving transactions in the ERP system and labels verified materials. Distributes parts and packages to the warehouse or appropriate staff.

SHIPPING

Verifies part counts and shipment details against lot sheets, work orders, and sales orders. Packages and prepares materials for shipment via LTL trucking and express service carriers (UPS and FedEx). Labels shipping cartons with all required shipping and customer documentation. Submits completed shipping paperwork to Accounting for daily invoicing. Maintains and updates the Shipping and Receiving Work Instruction Manual. Recommends improvements to packaging and shipping methods. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Ensures shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

SAFETY, QUALITY AND COMMUNICATION

Immediately reports safety, quality, production, or personnel concerns to management. Has the authority to stop shipments or production processes when safety or quality concerns are identified.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, an individual should meet these minimum education and experience requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to meet the physical requirements of the position: Work in a sitting and standing position and be able to twist, turn, reach, grip and bend. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
