Production Control Specialist Reports To:

Exempt Location:
Cuyahoga Falls Position Summary To monitor, input production, and orientation of new employees in accordance with business unit objectives to manufacture high quality products at the lowest possible cost. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure work orders are being turned in daily, and coordinates follow ups with all relevant shift supervisors
  • Enters production work orders daily from all shifts.
  • Researches, corrects, and finishes all work orders as needed, including cycle counts in work order browse system
  • Assists with all other ERP functions to ensure proper production and inventory reporting as necessary.
  • Assists the inventory and purchasing department with inventory related issues.
  • Directs new employees through the new hire orientation process as needed.
  • Assist production supervisors with training new employees on how to safely operate a press, riveting, spotweld machine, etc.
  • Supports and maintains a safe work environment by following established safety procedures, identifying potential hazards, and reporting safety concerns to leadership.
  • Microsoft Business Central experience is a plus
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence certificate). College Degree preferred. 3 to 5 years of Manufacturing experience is preferred. Language Skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal written work instructions. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or public groups, and/or board of directors. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisors, clients, staff vendors, etc. Mathematical Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Computer Skills
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, work processing, spreadsheet, etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft office. Other Qualifications
  • Previous use of work order browse experience preferred.
Pay:
$24.57
