Irrigation and Landscape Technician

Position Overview Justin Grant Farms is seeking a dependable, hard-working Part-Time Irrigator for the 2026 irrigation season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, flexible scheduling, and working outdoors in a production agriculture setting. Schedule 1

Mid-May 2026 2

End Date:

Mid to Late September 2026 3 Work 5-6 consecutive days, followed by 7-10 days off 4

Morning:

6:00 AM - 7:30/8:00 AM 5

Evening:

Return for irrigation checks/adjustments 6

Minimum:

40 hours per month 7 Additional hours available during peak periods Pay $20-30/hour Key Responsibilities 1 Set, monitor, and adjust irrigation systems (wheel lines, hand lines, pivots, etc.) 2 Perform routine checks to ensure proper water distribution 3 Assist with irrigation setup before hay cutting and adjustments after cutting 4 Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of irrigation equipment 5 General property maintenance and cleanup as needed Qualifications 1 Basic knowledge of irrigation systems preferred (training available) 2 Ability to work early mornings and evenings consistently 3 Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently 4 Physically capable of working outdoors in varying conditions 5 Valid driver's license preferred Additional Details 1 Approximately 7 irrigation rotations throughout the season 2 Flexible role with opportunities for additional hours based on workload and performance 3 Great fit for someone looking to supplement income or work around another schedule
