Irrigation Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems across various properties. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions. Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even coverage and optimal water distribution. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, and general landscaping activities. Use construction and landscaping equipment to modify terrain or install new irrigation infrastructure as needed. Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for client files. Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment. Familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, and general landscape maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators. Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design is a plus. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in outdoor environments. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing system issues.
