Wanted Experience:

Able to change spray heads, rotor heads and nozzles Knowledge to turn on irrigation controller and troubleshoot zones and system Experience repairing line breaks and PVC pipe repairs Understanding of replacing valves and/or solenoids Some electrical experience wiring zones to controllers This position will be assisting our Irrigation Department in going from our office to sites. To turn on and test the irrigation systems and write a report on whether each section is functioning properly, if there are sections not working, or if things will need repairs. To conduct our 'wet check' reviews to generate reports. Shift is Monday-Friday 6:30-3:30. Pay is weekly. 40 hourly weekly, may have some over-time hours available. Duties Install new irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing irrigation infrastructure to prevent leaks and ensure efficient operation Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers with mechanical knowledge Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions, landscape needs, and seasonal requirements Assist with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general horticultural tasks to support overall site health Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects Document all work performed accurately and report any issues or system failures promptly Requirements Proven experience with irrigation systems installation and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, and system troubleshooting Familiarity with landscaping practices including lawn care and general landscape maintenance Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators safely and effectively Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and system optimization Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions for extended periods This role is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who thrive on technical challenges.
