ISL House manager

Choices of St. Joseph is seeking a full time manager for one of our ISL homes in St. Joseph, MO. We prefer someone with management experience and experience with the MR/DD population, especially working with total care individuals. It is a working supervisor position so you will work alongside your subordinates daily. The position requires supervision and scheduling of subordinates, training coaching and evaluating employees, strong written and verbal communication skills, and assisting intellectually disabled individuals with all areas of daily activity. Must be caring, reliable, and able to think on their feet. This ISL has male clients with behavioral issues and has difficulties with being inappropriate with female staff. The qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and a vehicle, and be able to pass a background screening required by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. A background in the medical field will be very beneficial in this position. This is a salaried position with incentive pay for hours worked beyond your routine schedule. The routine schedule if 44 hours per week. 40 hours is part of ratio and 4 hours is administrative time. All hours worked over 44 hours per week will be paid at $18 per hour.
