Position Overview The Wealth Planner serves as the primary advisor and relationship manager for a defined group of clients while also contributing to the firm's organic growth. This role owns client relationships end-to-end—leading planning conversations, providing ongoing advice, coordinating implementation, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. In addition, the Wealth Planner plays an active role in attracting new clients through relationship-based business development. Growth is expected to come primarily through trusted relationships, including centers of influence, referrals, and thoughtful marketing and networking efforts aligned with the firm's values. While supported by a team of planners and operations professionals, the Wealth Planner is the main point of accountability for client outcomes, retention, satisfaction, and growth. Client Leadership & Relationship Ownership Serve as the primary advisor for assigned client relationships Lead all client meetings, including discovery, plan delivery, and ongoing review conversations Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and families Be accountable for client retention, satisfaction, and overall experience Act as the main point of contact for client questions, decisions, and guidance Financial Planning & Advice Develop, deliver, and oversee comprehensive financial plans across investments, retirement, tax strategy, risk management, and estate considerations Analyze client data and translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable recommendations Provide proactive advice as clients' lives, goals, and circumstances evolve Conduct tax-aware analysis including tax gain/loss planning and coordination with client CPAs as appropriate Business Development & Growth Contribute to the firm's growth through relationship-based prospecting and referrals Strengthen and expand relationships with existing centers of influence (CPAs, attorneys, business owners, and other professionals) Identify and develop new centers of influence aligned with the firm's ideal client profile Participate in marketing, networking, and community engagement activities that support long-term growth Clearly articulate the Nold Bryant philosophy and value proposition to prospective clients and referral partners Team Collaboration & Execution Work closely with Associate Wealth Planners and operations team members to ensure seamless execution of client service Delegate and oversee follow-up tasks while maintaining accountability for outcomes Partner with internal team members to prepare for meetings and implement planning recommendations efficiently Client Experience & Firm Standards Ensure clients consistently receive a best-in-class experience aligned with Nold Bryant's values Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM systems Uphold compliance standards and contribute to a well-run, organized practice Participate in firm initiatives and special projects that improve the client experience, planning process, or growth efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field CFP certification completed or in progress strongly preferred 3-7 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related advisory role Demonstrated ability to lead client relationships with confidence and professionalism Experience or interest in relationship-driven business development Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Self-directed, dependable, and team-oriented What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) A planning-centric, relationship-driven advisory environment Strong internal team support that allows you to focus on advice, relationships, and growth Opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and continuing education A collaborative culture aligned around serving clients well How to Apply If you are passionate about financial planning, enjoy building meaningful relationships, and are excited to contribute to both client success and firm growth, please send your resume and cover letter to christian@noldbryant.com.
