Island Delivery Driver/Bike Technician

Looking to join a super fun Team but for a whole bunch of reasons can't or don't want to join full time? Consider joining our team at Island Bike & Surf for 2-3 days a week! Day to day you will be: Maintaining our rental fleet Performing various bicycle repairs (with small corresponding paperwork) Driving to Kiawah/Seabrook to deliver bicycles often with a co-pilot Building new bikes Helping improve the flow and layout of our warehouse through cleaning + renovating our space Performing various cleaning tasks Assisting the General Manager in all daily requirements pertaining to bicycles, our property, and storage

Requirements:

Great customer service skills Strong communication Willingness to learn (previous knowledge of bicycle mechanics is helpful but not necessary) Ability to lift at least 50lbs Organization skills/eye for detail

Pay:

We are hiring primarily for Seasonal work; Part Time and Full time roles are available from Now Through Mid August. There will be an opportunity for 1 year round driver to join our team as well. As a year round employee we do offer PTO, we can go over during interview.

Tips:

Most tips are given at time of purchase and split between all of our hourly employees. In June of 2025 this was a $4.10/hour increase in wages for our team- paid on the second paycheck in July. All delivery tips received in cash are for you to keep or split with your rider if you have anyone directly with your rider.
