Are you a proactive and skilled IT professional passionate about ensuring critical connectivity in challenging environments? Oilfield Instrumentation is seeking a dedicated IT / Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at our Broussard facility. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in managing and supporting our entire technology infrastructure. This includes robust corporate networks (LAN/WAN, firewalls), resilient Windows servers, and efficient Microsoft 365 environments. You'll also provide essential remote support to our diverse land and offshore sites, playing a direct role in the success of our global operations. Beyond traditional IT, you will take ownership of supporting, maintaining, and configuring vital telecommunications systems - from VoIP and satellite to cellular and advanced camera systems. Your expertise will directly ensure uninterrupted connectivity, which is the backbone of our field operations and client success. This is an excellent opportunity for a problem-solver with 1-3 years of IT experience, looking to apply their strong networking foundation and customer-centric approach in a high-impact industry.Key Responsibilities:
Network & Infrastructure Management:
Support and maintain corporate network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN solutions. Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server/Linux environments and virtualized platforms. Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.Telecommunications & Connectivity:
Support, configure, and maintain critical telecommunication systems (VoIP, satellite, cellular) for both corporate and field operations. Deploy and manage specialized explosion-proof IP camera systems for offshore and land-based applications. Provide expert remote technical support for network and telecom issues at various land and offshore sites.System Maintenance & Support:
Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance, and backup procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability. Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in an on-site/remote on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical incidents.Problem Solving & Customer Service:
Diagnose and resolve complex IT and telecommunications issues efficiently and effectively. Deliver exceptional customer service, guiding users and stakeholders with clear, patient communication.What You Bring:

1-3 years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration and/or telecommunications support. Solid foundation in networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching). Familiarity with Windows operating systems and server environments. Experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Exposure to telecommunication systems (VoIP, satellite, cellular) is highly desirable.Troubleshooting:
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.Customer Focus:

Exceptional ability to quickly grasp new technologies, learn on the job, and maintain composure in dynamic, high-pressure situations inherent to the oil and gas industry.Work Environment:
Ability to work on-site in Broussard, LA, with flexibility for occasional travel to field locations. Bonus Points (Highly Desired): Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft 365 Administrator). Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Previous experience supporting technology in the oil and gas industry.Pay:
