8:00 a.m.•4:00 p.m. Overview Lincolnian Senior Residences is an affordable Assisted Living community serving low•to moderate-income seniors ages 62 and above in Northern Virginia. We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to join our Environmental Services team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a team in a senior living setting. Key Responsibilities Vacuum, mop, dust, and disinfect community areas and resident spaces Clean windows, window treatments, doors, and other surfaces Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the community Clean carpets and floors using appropriate equipment and supplies Maintain housekeeping and cleaning equipment in good working condition Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins Follow safety procedures and infection control practices Assist with additional housekeeping and janitorial tasks as assigned Qualifications Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred Ability to operate industrial laundry and carpet-cleaning equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable attendance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Full-time schedule Supportive work environment Opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors
