Janitorial Worker

AM M-F Position Summary:

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This includes performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a pleasant and hygienic atmosphere for employees, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed. Empty trash cans and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste. Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using cleaning chemicals and equipment appropriately. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Notify management of any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning duties. Collaborate with other janitorial staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Pay:

$16.00 per hour
