Jellico High School Social Studies Teacher

Jellico High School is seeking a licensed Social Studies teacher. This position is responsible for providing engaging, standards-based instruction while fostering a positive learning environment that supports student achievement and growth. Qualifications Valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate Social Studies endorsement Strong classroom management and instructional skills Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration Commitment to student success and academic excellence Responsibilities Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Tennessee Academic Standards Maintain an organized and effective classroom environment Assess student progress and provide timely feedback Utilize technology and instructional strategies to enhance student learning Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support school goals Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements Participate in school-related activities and professional development opportunities Terms of Employment Full-time, 10-month position Salary and benefits based on the approved salary schedule and district policies Questions regarding this position may be directed to Mandy Starrett at 423-562-8377.
