Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the electrical systems in various settings are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. Your expertise will shine as you work on both commercial and industrial projects, utilizing your skills with programmable logic controllers and high voltage systems. You'll be an essential part of our team, bringing energy and innovation to every task while ensuring safety and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). What you'll do Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems both commercial and residential in compliance with NEC standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems on projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Conduct inspections using an ohmmeter to ensure system functionality and safety. Provide guidance on electrical best practices to less experienced team members. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Basic qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Familiarity with frame carpentry and maintenance person tasks is a plus. Preferred qualifications Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Previous experience using hand tools, power tools, and ohmmeters in practical applications.
