Job Description

Position Summary Wilson Building Services is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support field operations and assist with the coordination of construction projects. This is an entry-level, development role designed for someone with strong potential who is eager to learn the construction process and grow into a Project Coordinator position. This role will focus primarily on field coordination, jobsite support, and documentation. The Junior Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, field crews, and subcontractors to help ensure projects run efficiently, safely, and according to plan. Key Responsibilities Field Coordination Assist with coordinating day-to-day jobsite activities Visit job sites regularly to observe progress, safety, and quality of work Communicate with subcontractors and field crews regarding schedules and expectations Help ensure materials, equipment, and crews are ready when needed Project Support & Documentation Assist with daily field reports including progress updates, photos, and notes Track work completed and help document quantities installed Support maintaining project records such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders Assist with organizing project files and documentation Site Organization & Safety Help monitor jobsite cleanliness and organization Observe and report potential safety concerns Support enforcement of company safety standards Communication & Coordination Provide updates to project managers on job progress and field conditions Assist in coordinating subcontractors to minimize delays and conflicts Help identify issues early and communicate them to the project team Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Preferred)in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field 0-2 years of construction or related experience Strong willingness to learn and grow in the construction industry Basic ability to read construction drawings Skills & Requirements Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work both in the field and in an office environment Comfortable using basic technology, including: o Microsoft Excel and Word o Mobile devices for field reporting Detail-oriented with strong observational skills Ability to take direction and follow through on tasks Valid driver's license Work Environment This position requires regular time in the field at active construction sites as well as time in the office. The candidate must be comfortable working outdoors and interacting with field crews and subcontractors.
Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
