We are seeking for a dynamic Junior Buyer to join our team in our Orlando facility . Salary starts at $19 per hour. A Junior Buyer in Iberia Foods (a large distributor of Caribbean and Hispanic food products) supports the purchasing and procurement process to ensure products (food & beverages) are available, cost-effective, and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities Typical duties include but are not limited to: Procurement & Purchasing Assist with purchase orders and ensure accuracy and compliance Source food and beverage products from approved suppliers Help compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines for cost-effective buying Vendor & Supplier Management Communicate with vendors to confirm orders and delivery schedules Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Inventory & Supply Chain Support Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock Track shipments and resolve delays Support demand planning and product availability Market & Product Analysis Analyze food market trends and pricing Research new products, brands, or alternatives Stay updated on seasonal product availability Administrative Tasks Maintain accurate purchasing records (pricing, vendors, orders) Assist senior buyers with procurement strategies Ensure compliance with company policies and food industry standards
