Aug 4, 2026 Job Description USD 454-Burlingame is seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to join our team as a Junior High Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with district and state standards Design and implement lessons that actively engage students in the learning process Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of students Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to monitor and support student progress Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues We are looking for an educator who is passionate about mathematics, committed to student success, and eager to contribute to a collaborative school culture. The district has a childcare center on site. Salary Information First year teaching salary was $46,075 plus benefits for the 2025-2026 school year. Salary is based upon additional learning and experience. Upon settlement of the 2026-2027 negotiations, salary will be increased accordingly. Supplemental sponsorships and coaching positions available.
