Length of Work Year 2026-27 FALL Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary A JV head coach for football leads and develops junior varsity players by teaching fundamental skills, team systems, and game strategy. They plan and conduct practices, coach games, and focus on building discipline, teamwork, and football IQ while preparing athletes for advancement to the varsity level. The coach also emphasizes sportsmanship, accountability, and personal growth both on the field and in the classroom.

Requirements / Qualifications

Prior football coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Heat Acclimatization Certificate
• TB test
• Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
