Today Job Description Summer Camp Instructor The Shenandoah Community School District is seeking energetic, creative, and dependable individuals to lead our upcoming Summer Camp sessions at the JK-8 Building. If you enjoy working with students and creating engaging learning experiences, we want to hear from you! Position Details
Location:
Shenandoah K-8 Building
Camp Instructor Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour. Teaching certification is not required for this position.
Camp Associates Pay Rate:
Hourly rate remains the same as your current school year rate. Summer camps sessions are listed below: Session 1: July 7 – July 10, 2026 Session 2: July 13 – July 17, 2026 Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise groups of K-8 students in various educational and recreational activities. Foster a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all campers. Implement provided camp curriculum and activities effectively. Maintain clear communication with school administration and parents as needed. Qualifications Must have a passion for working with children and youth. Strong communication and organizational skills.
