Heart of Dixie Veterinary Clinic Now Hiring:

Lead Kennel Technician We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and animal-loving Lead Kennel Technician to join our team! This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, kennel or veterinary experience, and a passion for providing excellent care to animals.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily kennel operations (No staff management) Ensure animals are cared for in a safe, clean, and compassionate environment Monitor feeding, medication schedules, exercise, and overall wellness Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and facility areas Communicate professionally with pet owners and staff Help manage inventory and supplies

Qualifications:

Previous kennel, boarding, grooming, or veterinary experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stay active throughout the day
