Part-time, in-person Position Summary The Mason County Commission is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Kennel Attendant at the Mason County Animal Shelter. This in-person role is essential to providing daily care and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of animals housed at the animal shelter. We are looking for a dedicated team member who takes pride in serving the community and contributes to the overall efficiency and professionalism of our operations. Key Responsibilities Providing daily care and monitoring the overall well-being of shelter animals Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and animal housing areas Feeding and watering animals according to established schedules Administering medications and treatments as directed Performing general housekeeping duties, including dishwashing, laundry, and mopping, to maintain a clean and sanitary shelter environment Conducting supervised play groups to support exercise and socialization of the shelter dogs. Capturing photographs and videos of shelter dogs to promote adoption efforts Requirements Valid driver's license Ability to pass background check and drug screening Must be able to work weekends and holidays Experience with animals preferred How to
