VCA Barkers Hotel is looking for reliable, caring, and motivated individuals to join our team as Patient Care Attendants! Located on 2.5 acres of fun, VCA Barkers Hotel features large artificially turfed play parks and even a swimming pool built just for dogs. Our team provides a safe, clean, exciting environment where dogs can play, socialize, and receive exceptional care while their families are away. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position with incredible opportunities to learn and grow within the veterinary and pet care field. We are especially excited to mentor individuals who may be interested in eventually becoming Veterinary Technicians.

What You'll Be Doing:

🐶 Supervising and safely managing playgroups of large and small dogs 🐶 Monitoring dog behavior and encouraging safe, positive interactions 🐶 Cleaning and sanitizing play areas, suites, and facility spaces 🐶 Assisting with dog baths and general pet care 🐶 Supporting a clean, safe, and fun environment for every guest

✔ Reliable team players who show up ready to work ✔ Positive attitudes and willingness to learn ✔ Ability to take coaching, direction, and feedback well ✔ Self-motivated individuals who can stay productive in a busy environment ✔ Comfort working outdoors for extended periods — including during summer weather ✔ A genuine love for dogs and animal care

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-time availability with flexible scheduling required
• Must be available to work one weekend day
• Holiday availability is required
