Kennel Manager

Responsibilities Supervise daily kennel activities, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animals' health and behavior Oversee pet grooming, pet sitting, and veterinary-related tasks to ensure high standards of animal care Manage staff schedules, training, and performance to foster a motivated and knowledgeable team Handle animal restraint and handling procedures safely and humanely, ensuring comfort for animals and staff Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatments, and client interactions Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including heavy lifting techniques and proper sanitation practices Qualifications Proven experience in kennel management or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant Strong knowledge of dog training, handling, and behavior management techniques Experience with pet grooming, pet sitting, and animal restraint procedures Familiarity with veterinary procedures and veterinary experience is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large animals or equipment Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively Join us in creating a safe haven where animals receive compassionate care while providing pet owners peace of mind. Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
