Kindergarten Teacher

The Gateway Regional School District is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher at Chester Elementary School. Responsibilities include: Plans and delivers standards-based instruction aligned with district curriculum in literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional learningCreates a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports all learnersWorks collaboratively with grade-level teams, specialists, and support staff to meet student needsCommunicates effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom activitiesSupports the development of foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematicsIntegrates play-based and hands-on learning opportunities appropriate for early childhood developmentMaintains accurate records of student performance and progressPerforms other responsibilities as assigned by the building principal

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Early Childhood (PreK2) Licensure requiredKnowledge of early literacy instruction (CKLA experience preferred)Experience with differentiated instruction and meeting diverse learning needsStrong communication and collaboration skillsCommitment to fostering a positive school cultureSalary range: $52,803
