POSITION TITLE:
Kitchen AideREPORTS TO
SuperintendentTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full Time, 8 hours per day, 4 days per week, 161 contract days with benefts as specifed in the Classified Agreement.QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required Two years of cooking experience preferred (but not required) with desired experience in institutional cooking. Hold a valid food handler's card. First Aid/CPR certification preferredESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in the preparation and service of meals in accordance with established nutritional guidelines and menus, ensuring compliance with Federal and State requirements. Follows proper food handling, preparation, and serving procedures in alignment with ODE, USDA, and OSHA standards. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment, including industrial dishwashers, ovens, and other food service tools, safely and effectively. Accurately handles cash and completes transactions in accordance with District procedures. Utilizes meal service software (MealTime) to support daily operations; learns and adapts to new systems as needed. Follows oral and written instructions with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Maintains strict confidentiality of student, staff, and District information as required. Adheres to all District policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements. Completes required documentation and reports accurately and within established timelines. Demonstrates professionalism through consistent reliability, punctuality, and preparedness. Establishes and maintains positive, respectful working relationships with students, staff, and supervisors. Represents the District in a professional manner and supports its mission, vision, and values. Performs additional duties as assigned to support the overall operation and success of the District.Position Type:
