Key:
  • = Full TimePart Time Regular Staff Only As a Kitchen Helper, you will carry out our Mission of Love by providing the best quality dining service, through continuous training, to maintain an enjoyable dining experience for our residents in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
Our Kitchen Helper is responsible for the following: Uses chemicals and cleaning agents safely and effectively to accomplish assigned tasks in accordance with food service regulations established by federal, state, local and private accreditation organizations. Performs daily kitchen utility duties according to established procedures. Follows established procedures for use and maintenance of kitchen utility equipment. Follows all established cleaning procedures. Inspects, monitors, cleans, and maintains sanitary equipment and wares and takes corrective action to maintain sanitary conditions. Maintains an adequate supply of clean and sanitized wares for each meal period. Inspects to ensure wares are clean and free of debris. Disposes of food waste in a safe and hygienic manner. Performs cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Uses dish room equipment in a safe and effective manner as trained by supervisor. Performs routine minor equipment cleaning and maintenance to ensure all equipment remains in a clean and operable condition. Recognizes and reports upon first notice any equipment or environmental condition that needs corrective action or preventative maintenance. Kitchen Helper:
A high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age Any equivalent combination of experience and training preferred. Willing to receive on the job training. Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
