Kitchen helper/Substitute Delivery Driver

We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to join our team. We prepare the meals for the 60+ Senior Nutrition Program in Pittsburg. Meals are prepared and delivered in a three-county service area, serving approximately 400 meals daily. This position would also be a backup delivery driver, so you will learn the delivery routes as well as help prepare the food. The hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am - 2:00 pm Responsibilities Prepare food for service by following the approved menu Follow directions and duties as requested by the Kitchen Manager. Learn the meal delivery routes Assist with other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications Ability to follow all sanitation procedures and keep work area clean and orderly Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and management Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Ability to pass a background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent is required
