Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, managing inventory, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and excellence. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our restaurant by ensuring smooth kitchen operations and outstanding customer service. Duties Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills in food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours for seamless service delivery. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff alike. Utilize POS systems such as Clover for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication between kitchen and service staff for efficient operations. Monitor food production processes to uphold quality control and consistency across all menu items. Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling labor costs, food costs, and other operational expenses while meeting financial goals. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants; fine dining or casual dining experience is highly valued. Strong supervisory skills with previous management or assistant manager experience in a restaurant setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover for transaction processing and reporting. Knowledge of inventory control techniques and food safety standards aligned with local regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in staff training & development, team management, and interviewing potential team members. Ability to handle cash accurately during shifts while maintaining high levels of customer service. Demonstrated skills in budgeting, food management, catering operations, banquet services or hotel experience are advantageous. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
