Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure quality and safety Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food prep tasks Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure excellent customer satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service hours Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service environment Strong background in food handling, food safety practices, and meal preparation techniques Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and culinary techniques Skilled in knife handling and various cooking methods such as grilling, sautéing, roasting, and baking Familiarity with catering operations and serving large groups is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining high-quality standards Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
