Line Cook Grandote Peaks Steak House La Veta, CO Grandote Peaks Steak House is seeking a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Prepare menu items according to recipes, standards, and chef direction. Assist with prep work, cooking, plating, and kitchen cleanup. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Help support overall kitchen operations as needed. Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required. Willingness to learn and take direction. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
