Job Description
The City of Abilene, Abilene Fire Department is accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters. This is an on-call position only. An employee in this position performs duties combating, extinguishing and preventing fires, as well as operating and maintaining fire department equipment and apparatus. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Kansas Driver's License, high school diploma, or GED. Applications can be obtained at the City Office, 419 N.
