Starting Salary:

$34,798.40 Annual ($16.73/Hr.)

  • Offered salary will be determined by experience, qualifications, and skill set that the candidate brings to the position.

Position Summary & Responsibilities Position Summary:

This position serves as an administrative professional for the Office of Victim Services program staff, providing advanced-level clerical support, grant tracking, and program assistance for the Batterer Intervention Programs. Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Provide advanced-level clerical support for the Batterer Intervention Program (BIP) and others as needed. This position will work closely with BIP staff to complete the following tasks: Manage all parole-based BIP referrals and assist with tracking outcomes/participant status throughout supervision. Collect monthly and quarterly referral statistics and distribute to Parole Management and other referral sources. These duties also include occasional staffing with Victim Services or Parole staff related to a participant's progress. Assist with facility-based programming referrals and tracking. Complete callouts for facility-based programming. Complete special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications :

One year of experience in planning, implementing and monitoring activities relevant to the agency's programs. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Basic computer skills are necessary to be able to use Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, and to navigate databases and track information.

Preferred Qualifications :

A minimum of one year of experience working with crime victims or other underserved populations. Bachelor's degree with major coursework in criminal justice, social sciences or behavioral sciences. Experience working with victims in corrections, parole or law enforcement. Education or training in the area of domestic violence.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the state as needed. Must successfully pass a criminal history records check. Must successfully pass a pre-employment urinalysis (UA) drug screening.

Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate Required:
