We exist to bring compassionate, professional concern to communications. In practice, that means we are a 70-year-old family-owned company that answers the phone for plumbers, HVAC companies, medical practices, and law firms across the country, with outstanding live agents and our own AI, Lanyap, working alongside them, 24/7/365. Our clients are not buying minutes. They are buying a partner and peace of mind. We are growing, and we are looking for one salesperson to continue that growth and expand it. Someone who sells consultatively. How we sell People buy from people they like, and they buy from people who listen. We do not pitch. Every conversation opens with an advanced agreement about what we are there to do and how we will both know whether there is a fit, and every conversation ends with an agreement about what happens next, with a date on it. We diagnose before we recommend, and we quantify what missed calls are costing before we talk about price. We are not the cheapest, we do not discount to close, and we do not sell temporary accounts. We say "we are not the right fit" when it is true. You will recognize this if you have sold something intangible before. Nobody can hold what we sell or try it on. They are buying a promise about how their callers get treated at 2:00 a.m., from people they just met. Here is the seat, honestly You start on inbound. The leads are warm and in the moment, and the buying window closes in hours rather than days, so speed and discipline carry the first six months. So does fit. We would rather lose a deal than oversell one, and retention of what you sell is part of how you are measured here. From month six you add outbound. What you get when you do: software, franchise, and association doors that are already open and largely unworked, into thousands of franchise locations, practices, and owner-operated service companies in verticals we already serve well. A product line our competitors cannot match: live agents who actually care, our own AI, or both together. And a weekly pipeline review with the President, who will work with you to review your deals. What you will do Answer every inbound lead within minutes.
Run discovery the right way:
consultative, set advanced agreement, then a full diagnosis before any price. Recommend live agents, Lanyap AI, or the hybrid based on what you heard, not on what is easiest to close. Tell the owner what the AI will not do, before they ask. Build a first-invoice estimate with the owner from the information on hand, present it as the estimate it is, and say plainly what would move it. Nobody should be surprised by the first bill. Close, and hand off to onboarding and the account manager with everything they need in HubSpot.
From month six:
build a target list and work it by phone, email, LinkedIn, conference show floors, etc. Fifty conversations, twelve discovery meetings, and two to three proposals a week at full ramp. Bring back what the market is telling you. What we measure Speed to first contact. Conversion from lead to meeting to close. [6 to 8] new accounts a month at full ramp. Whether those accounts are still with us at month six. Whether the people who onboard your clients would call your handoffs complete. Who does well here
Hungry:
you run your own week, and you follow up when you said you would, every time.
Humble:
you have walked away from a deal that did not fit, you can tell us about one that went wrong after the close and what your part in it was, and you ask for feedback and give it because you want to get better.
Smart Communicator:
you communicate well enough with onboarding, account management, quality, and IT that they would choose to work with you. You can tell us why your clients bought from you instead of the cheaper option, with names attached. You have sold an intangible business-to-business service, where the buyer commits on trust before there is anything to inspect. You have sold consultatively to small-business owners and you can state your number, your attainment, and the activity behind it. You have built pipeline from cold at least once. And you can reason clearly about when a client should not get the technology. Years in our industry are not required. Neither is a degree, or a manager title. A book of business is welcome, not required. If you have one, the accounts have to be the kind of client we keep, and you have to be contractually free to bring them. What you get from us Education about who our clients are, who they are not, what you are authorized to promise, our consultative process, and a 90-day ramp up calendar that starts on the floor listening to real calls. Commission on first-year revenue, paid monthly on the previous month's collected invoice, with a new-logo accelerator, uncapped. Health, 401(k) with match, and PTO. A weekly pipeline review with the President. And a company whose purpose is to bring compassionate, professional concern to communications, which includes to you. The interview A phone screen, a conversation with the President, a take-home exercise (we give you a real-looking company and ask what you would recommend and why) plus a short live first-call role-play, a panel with the people who will receive your handoffs, and references. We move fast when it is right. To apply Send your resume plus five sentences, no more, on the best deal you closed last year and why that client is still a client.
