Duration:
12+ Months Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician I to support antigen production laboratory operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting with aseptic and non-aseptic processes, equipment operation, housekeeping, documentation, and compliance activities while maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualifications Required Education Minimum High School Diploma/GED Required Experience Minimum 1 year of experience (pharmaceutical manufacturing facility experience preferred) Ability to operate manufacturing equipment with training Strong attention to detail and documentation skills General knowledge of reading, mathematics, and computer skills Ability to communicate and work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test (POET) Responsibilities Work with a variety of manufacturing equipment throughout the manufacturing cycle Assist with equipment setup and operation Perform manual and/or automated operations, general maintenance, and support functions Maintain housekeeping in all work areas and execute facility decontamination procedures Assist with aseptic procedures including antigen inoculation, harvest, and cell culture preparation Support non-aseptic procedures involving live animal virus handling and tissue harvesting Maintain concurrent record keeping including charts, log books, and documentation Identify and communicate compliance, safety, environmental, and process deviations Assist with hazardous waste accumulation, labeling, and management as trained Follow all company safety policies and maintain safe work habits Assist with weekly reports and attend required training sessions, workshops, and meetings Working Conditions Hours may vary based on business needs May require rotating shifts, including weekends Overtime flexibility is required No travel required Preferred Skills Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good organizational and documentation practices
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.33 per hour
