$30•38/hr Join a Team That Values Your Expertise We're looking for a Certified Payroll & Labor Compliance Expert to step in and make an immediate impact. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know prevailing wage inside and out, and enjoy solving payroll challenges-this role is for you. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across our payroll operations, especially for prevailing wage and project-based work. What You'll Do Lead certified payroll processing for prevailing wage projects Set up and manage payroll for prevailing wage jobs Troubleshoot and resolve certified payroll reporting issues Create and maintain reporting in DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) Ensure compliance with state labor laws and project labor requirements Assist with DIR classifications for new projects Support setup and management in platforms like DIR, LCPtracker, and LAUSD Help streamline payroll processes across both prevailing wage and standard payroll What You Bring Proven experience with DIR Certified Payroll Reporting (required) Strong background in prevailing wage & labor compliance Hands-on experience with: Certified payroll audits Error correction and compliance fixes System setup (DIR, LCPtracker, LAUSD) Familiarity with Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) Experience working with LAUSD (highly preferred) Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently Why This Role?
